Her pouty face never left with her puffed up cheeks and cold like blue eyes glaring sharp pointed daggers at him. She wasn’t surprised to his reaction upon hitting him. Even for a kid her age she did have a pretty hard hit when she punched, then again it was to be expected since she was Lal and Colonello’s daughter. He deserved it anyways.

Clove absolutely hated when Skully left her especially when he was gone for a long time like this. So you really couldn’t blame her for being mad at him. She knew though that when it came down to mafia business and work that she couldn’t stop him from doing what he had to do. Even if it kept them away from each other for awhile. She couldn’t stay mad at him for that.

“Yeah yeah, I know, kora!” she replied with a small sigh her pout finally subsiding as she gave another smile towards him. “I’ve been alright I guess. Things have been really quiet and boring around here, kora.” She glanced up at him she was about up to his chest now in height but the kid was going through a growth spurt already. “I have gotten a bit taller since you left, kora.”

He watched her expression change, sensing danger he automatically shifted backwards a bit.

“Nothing exciting at all? How old are you now? 6?” he joked, knowing it was probably the wrong thing to say lest she haul off and hit him again. Which she would, as she was known to do.

“You’re growing up on me you know? What happened to forever young?”

Long Time No See || Clove + Skull

Clove turned around to face the Cloud Arcobaleno, she had the biggest grin on her face. “Papa Skully!!” she cried out happily. She wasted not a single moment as she ran over to him latching her arms around him hugging him for a few moments. She then pulled away giving a good punch to his side as she made a pouty face at him. “What took you so long!?” she growled. “…You were…gone a really long time ya know.” she huffed.

Skull laughed, “I know. I have a bad habit of leaving but I always come back you know!” He puffed out his chest, that ever arrogant smirk crossing his face. “I’d never leave permanently. You can’t get rid of me- OOF! What the hell?!” He frowned, not expecting her to punch him. It didn’t really hurt but it was still a bit uncomfortable. She packed a mean punch for a kid. Though he’d expect no less from the child of Lal. “Eh sorry for being gone. Sometimes it’s easy to lose track of time. Just business. How have you been kiddo? You’re looking a bit taller. You might catch up with me!”
